These instructions describe Text converter Version 1.6, which requires Calamus SL99 or later.
Text converter is a tool that allows you to save a lot of work and time if you want to modify texts whose text coding is already correct, but the font coding as yet is not.
Example:
Let us assume we have a document from the old Calamus version for
Windows, in which the text is present in Windows-1250 coding. This
cannot be converted directly with the document converter of Calamus
SL. Or think about further processing of RTF imports from other
computer systems, texts in foreign languages from Word etc. in Calamus
SL, where you want to modify the texts further with an individually
adapted font.
With the aid of a freely editable conversion table, it is possible to make any desired text conversions in any chosen text passages of Calamus documents.
