Multiple columns may be created also by the Document manager
directly when creating the page(s) with New file
(File menu),
as well as in the Guideline module as described above, and can be made
visible or invisible here. During the layout phase it is sensible to
leave them visible. When correcting text on the screen it may be more
practical to hide them.
