Mouse clicks are no longer recognised correctly?

I have found that mouse cliks in Calamus since SL98 are no longer recognised correctly. Often I have to press the mouse button several times to be able to select a frame underneath another frame. Why is that? I am working on an Atari TT.

In order to be able to control mouse behaviour at all on the by now extremely fast G3/G4 PowerMacs, we introduced for the SL98 in the April fresh-up a new parameter named HoldTime in the CALAMUS.SET file. This parameter determines how long Calamus should wait before recognising a mouse click as such. On slower computers such as Atari TT or Atari Falcon this value should lie between 40 and 100.
