This blue dot is the entry point for a small game in the Info
dialog that you may like to try sometime:
Try to catch the blue dot with a mouse click. If you are
successful, a further dialog opens, in which you can see a list of all
the people who have worked on Calamus. Then close the dialog again.
Now try to catch the dot one more with another mouse click. Each time it will move faster, and faster, and faster ...
PS: Such gimmicks in dialogs are also called EasterEggs
