Define the same colour depth as in the original image frame, e.g.
8 bit grey
for greyscale images. Now select "Delete original
frame(s). Click on the
1:1 icon. Reduce the dpi value by the
required factor and start the conversion. The image now looks coarser.
You can create
pixellated areas to hide some details in your
pictures like on TV, or simply reduce the size of overscanned pictures
in your document.
Attention! This method might erase important data! Please make sure you always keep copies of important original data on your hard drive.
