I have purchased a manual for Calamus95 which however doesn't match the software at all. Dialog fields, descriptions of procedure and similar matters could not be transferred to the software. Is this still the case with the newer versions?
At present we have the SL91 basic manual (with some 500 pages) available as a reprint containing descriptions of general techniques and principles of Calamus that are still applicable. The dialogs reproduced there are of course hopelessly out of date since the dialog redesign of SL96. For SL99 we are offering addenda manuals for SL96, SL98 and SL99 with between 40 and 100 pages.
SL2000 is also sold as standard with a manual addendum that describes the changes from SL99. Optionally we also offer a completely revised manual with slip cover that describes SL2000 together with all modules and drivers contained in the SL2000 distribution, which is up to date once more.
The manuals for SL 91/96/98/99 can also be found as PDF documents for download or online reading on our Web page – naturally exported as PS with Bridge 4 and converted to PDF with Adobe Acrobat Distiller.
