This function produces a colour blend and reproduces it between two objects. Before this function is selected, two objects need to be produced or selected.
Select the Object Editor
in the first function group, and
then the Special Functions
to get the selection of objects.
Select the circle from the group of object shapes, and draw one. Then
draw another circle. The form of the back object is not important
however, only its size. A Morphing
between the two different
shapes does not take place.

Now select the special functions of the Colour Blend Object
command group, click Create Colour Blend Copy
, then select the
two objects previously produced. Click Colour Blend Parameters
and adjust the parameters in the dialogue that appears:

If you now [OK] the dialogue, a gradation is produced in both colour and size from the object in the background to the front object. The back object adapts to the shape of the front object in adjusted stages, and the colours change from the front object to the back object.

With this function you can produce illumination effects in simple way, by being able to let an object in the background stretch into to an object in the foreground by a process of changing the size of the objects. The blend types selectable in the form for this process play no part here, and can be arbitrarily adjusted. Only the number of process objects is relevant.
