With this function you can close paths simply.
Closed paths are paths wherein the start and finish points are placed accurately at the same location.

The operation of the function is not difficult: Click on the icon
and then on any point of the path. The complete path, to which this
point belongs, is then closed, but is not rounded. If the path was not
already closed, the last point of the path is shifted onto the origin
point. No additional point is inserted into the path. The icon remains
selected, so that other paths can be closed. A click on the right
mouse button will return to the Select / Move Points
mode.
